IBM (The International Business Machines Corporation) was founded in 1911, it is an American multinational technology and consulting corporation manufactures and markets computer hardware and software. In the 103 years of company existence, the IBM’s logo has been changed many times. The first logo of IBM created in 1924, it was given a global shape which represented it as international firm. That black and white logo was not attractive and appealing so they decided to change it. They changed it with a simple lettering of “IBM” in a typeface called Beton Bold. After that change once again company decided to give a new look and they hired famous graphics designer “Paul Rand”, he replaced its typeface with City Medium. Once again in 1972 Paul Rand replaced its solid letters with horizontal stripes, suggesting speed and dynamism. So it was “Paul Rand” who created this great logo of a great company. He also created these famous companies’ logo UPS, Enron, Morningstar, Inc., Westinghouse and ABC.

It is an American multinational corporation that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, software, personal computers and online services stuff. Apple is the world’s second-largest information technology company by revenue and the 3rd largest mobile phones making company. It is reality that Apple logo is the world famous and one of the most recognized corporate symbol. In 1976 Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne created the first logo of Apple Inc. in this logo there was a scene “Isaac Newton was sitting under an apple tree”. It was a rainbow apple (an apple with multicolored stripes) with a bite taken out of its right side. Pepsi Cola:
Pepsi Cola is one of the most famous carbonated soft drinks consumed on the globe. It developed in 1893 introduced as Brad’s Drink. It was renamed as Pepsi-Cola on August 28, 1898, then to Pepsi in 1961. Pepsi Cola trademark approved on June 16, 1903, “Caleb Bradham” created its first trademark. When Pepsi got established and people started enjoying this drink, “Caleb Bradham” decided to change the logo. So in 1905 a modified and new logo was introduced then they made some changes in 1940 when Walter Mack, the CEO of Pepsi-Cola adopted an idea of glass bottle packing. At the 100 years celebrations Pepsi Cola decided to give a new look to their logo and then in 1998 they used italic capital typeface. Nike, Inc.:
Nike Inc. founded on January 25, 1964, as Blue Ribbon Sports and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1971. It is an American multinational corporation engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing, marketing and selling of sports footwear, sports apparel, sports equipment and sports accessories. In 1971 Nike Inc. hired “Carolyn Davidson” to design the logo of Nike, out of different logo design ideas, company selected the logo with a checkmark idea. In 1978 company decided to redesign its logo and once again “Carolyn Davidson” was there she placed “Nike” text above the swoosh mark and make is more solid and bold. She filled the checkmark with black color and gives a fresh look. In 1995 once again company decided to redesign its logo and they removed the “Nike” word from the logo and now there is just a checkmark and when anyone sees it “Nike” name comes in mind. It is just a swoosh mark representing “Nike”.

Burger King:
Burger King is world recognized fast food restaurant based in Florida, United States. BK founded in July 28, 1953 as Insta-Burger King in Miami, FL by James McLamore and David R. Edgerton. In 1955 BK created the first logo, in that logo there was burger and a character sited on it with a soft drink glass in his left hand and a crown on his head which represent the word “king”. Later in 1969 Burger King redesigned its logo which is famous with the name of “bun halves”. Once again in 1999 Burger King decided to redesign its logo that time “Sterling Brands” helped to make it attractive and they changed the color of burger ochre into orange and added a blue swirl which wrapped the burger and changed its square shape into rounded shape.
